About Starlight Lotus Studios

This studio was created with the goal of making artwork that encourages the viewer to take pause and enjoy the moment, as well as find beauty in the world around them.

I’m Christina Hassan, and I’ve been drawing and painting as a traditional artist starting from age 5, and began working with digital art as a medium as a senior in High School. I’ve always enjoyed learning new things and expressing myself through my artwork.

I’ve worked as an independent freelance concept artist and illustrator for over a decade, and have created artwork for games, books, tabletop RPG guidebooks, and 3D models.

I’ve had the honor of working as a concept artist for Wraithmarked Creative, LLC and Witchsong Miniatures for the past 4 years. I began working as a concept artist to bring established IP characters to life, then moved to designing concepts used for reference to craft detailed and intricate 3D models for use in tabletop RPGs. Witchsong Miniatures has run many successful Kickstarter campaigns to provide intricately-detailed fantasy miniature models ready for 3D printing and painting. I’ve had an amazing time working with these wonderful folks!

I’ve also had the honor of working with the lovely folks at Roll and Play Press as a character and creature artist and illustrator for over 2 years, making artwork to illustrate supplemental books and materials for Dungeons and Dragons 5E. I created over 40 illustrations used on the cover and throughout their widely praised One Shot Wonders book! One Shot Wonders had an incredibly successful Kickstarter campaign, was featured on Critical Role, and has won several awards including an Ennie Award, a UKGE Award for Best Role-Playing Game Adventure, and two Independent Publishing Awards for Best Newcomer and Impact. Congratulations to everyone at Roll and Play Press for their amazing work. I had so much fun illustrating characters based on their extremely creative and uniquely expressive concepts!
